I absolutely have a passion for animals. One of the best perks of pet sitting and dog walking is that you get to meet so many different breeds and personalities as well as getting to know more about the characters of these pets ... I can write a book!

Having worked at a dog training and behaviour centre as an assistant trainer and carer at the puppy day care has taught me so much about dog behaviour. Being able to effectively use this knowledge when dealing with dogs, and other animals too, is priceless!
​
I find learning to understand the pets and their behaviour very rewarding and this in the end makes pet sitting and dog walking rewarding in itself.

Twin sister to Marieda, I am just as passionate about dogs and cats but with less knowledge and experience. I've been drawn to dogs since I was very small, I mean, Marieda and I used to sit around our dogs' bowls and eat their kibble like it was sweets!! We were just 4 years old but hey, that shows dedication...right?

We have 4 dogs, they are my everything and my center. When I go on a sitting, I am lucky to have someone that will care for them as much as I would. I want you to know that I am that person for your pets. I will treat them like they are my own! Your pet(s) will be my main concern and I will therefore consciously plan my days according to their needs.

Since I was I little kid I've always been more interested in animals than in people. That's why I'm studying animal science to one day afford to have my own zoo full of animals in the back of my yard/farm. Until then I'll look after your pets as if they are my own. Love Paws has given me the opportunity to do what I love most, spend time with furry friends and taking them for a stroll.

I'm the girl that wants to take every stray animal I see home where they can feel safe and loved. I grew up on a farm and were used to being surrounded by animals. When I moved to Stellenbosch to continue my studies in B.SC Animal Science, I realised how empty my life is without my four-legged friends.
Pet sitting at Love Paws gives me the opportunity to give love and to take care of furry friends when their owners are not around.
